Hello, I am James and I am an avid Disney Freak to say the least. My earliest memory is of the Haunted Mansion at around 5 years old, and I havent been the same since! Growing up I knew I had a love for theme parks and Design and used my talents and interests of set and prop design to work on Halloween Displays. When highschool came around my interest specifically in Disney Parks and Imagineering really leveled up when I was asked to write a biography about a significant person in history. I chose Walt Disney! I was 15 and podcasts were just becoming a thing. I distinctly remember listening about the 50th anniversary at Disneyland and begged my parents to go and I still have the golden ears to commemorate the occasion. While my plans of becoming an Imagineer haven't quite panned out yet, I have a stronger love for Disney Parks then ever before. I proposed to my wife on the Peoplemover in Walt Disney World and we returned again for our Honeymoon. We now have three kids who also love visiting Disney! We are all about the Disney Life! Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin will be closed beginning on August 4, 2025. It will reopen in 2026 with a new show scene and character, updated ride vehicles, and gameplay enhancements.

According to Disney, Spaceship Earth will be temporarily closed for routine refurbishment starting August 25, 2025. The attraction is planned to reopen later this year, though no reopening date has been confirmed.

Although the Walt Disney World website still has a notice stating the ride is closed, both the Astro Orbiter webpage and My Disney Experience app list operating hours today (June 27, 2025) from park open to close.

Ticket Price: Starting at $139 per Guest (ages 3+)

The ticket to this event also includes admission to Disney California Adventure Park as early as 3:00 PM—that’s 3 hours before the party begins—on the valid date of your ticket. During this time, enjoy Halloween-themed attractions like Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree, Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween and Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark! Guests with a ticket to this event do not need to make a theme park reservation to enter Disney California Adventure Park at 3:00 PM or later.

Parking fees are not included in the ticket price. Lightning Lane Multi Pass, Premier Pass and Single Pass are not available during the event.

The last day to book a Lightning Lane for Pirates of the Caribbean will be June 30, 2025. Starting July 1, 2025, the ride will return to offering only a standby queue. Pirates of the Caribbean was added to the Lightning Lane system temporarily in January 2024 while other nearby attractions were being refurbished.
